Emine Erdogan Meets Egyptian First Lady Entissar Amer in Cairo
Following the meeting, Emine Erdogan shared remarks in a social media post, highlighting the substance of their discussions. “We held a productive meeting on issues of social solidarity that closely concern humanity as a whole,” she said.
As part of the visit, the two first ladies also toured major cultural landmarks, including the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza.
Emphasizing the broader significance of the encounter, Emine Erdogan expressed hope for deeper bilateral ties. “I hope that this valuable visit will contribute to the development of relations between our countries in all fields,” she added.
Earlier Wednesday, President Erdogan was officially welcomed in Cairo by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. He is accompanied by a large delegation of senior Turkish officials, including several Cabinet members.
According to statements, the visit has also seen the signing of multiple agreements across various sectors by relevant institutions and ministries from both countries.
